How Honey is made

Honey is made from the nectar collected by 1000s of bees from millions of flowers. they then evaporate the nectar until the water content is just right they then seal it up inside of the wax comb to be opened when there is a shortage of nectar available

Did you know that 1 bee in its life makes only 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey!

Help boost your immunity with high grade Jarrah honey

Our Immune system is consistently working to protect us from infections and diseases. In a healthy individual, the organs, cells and proteins of the immune system are constantly on the lookout for invading pathogens, bacteria, viruses and potentially harmful environmental substances. when it discovers a bacteria, virus or pathogen it doesnt recognise it sends an army of killer cells to fight the invader.

We need to help support this vital bodily function, especially as the winter flu season approaches and the very real threat of contracting COVID19.

HOW DOSE JARRAH HONEY HELP THE YOUR IMMUNITY:

Jarrah honey is an active honey. All active healing honey is given a Total Activity, or TA, rating. The higher the rating, the higher the natural antimicrobial activity (bacteria killing) and healing properties of the honey.

Consuming honey that has such strong antimicrobial power helps to boost the work of the immune system and help us fight infections that may have taken hold.

The antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal & anti-yeast properties of active healing honey mean that it’s recommended for coughs, cuts and infections by doctors. Studies have found that active healing honey, such as Jarrah honey, reduces the severity and duration of sore throats, coughs & infections.

Active healing honey also contains high levels of antioxidants. Antioxidants help to kill free radicals, unstable oxygen molecules that can cause damage to our cells, including the cells of the IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Our Jarrah 40+ is in extreme demand at the moment with the flu season kicking off  early this year as well as the COVID19 virus.
